About Janani Clinic
Janani Clinic is a specialized medical facility that provides expert care for maternal and fetal health. Our clinic is led by Dr. Prathima Prabhu, a highly qualified and experienced Maternal and Fetal Medicine specialist. Dr. Prabhu is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of OBG at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore. At Janani Clinic, we are dedicated to providing personalized care for each patient. We understand that every pregnancy is unique, and we work closely with our patients to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby. Dr. Prathima Prabhu's Education
Dr. Prathima Prabhu is a qualified and experienced Maternal and Fetal Medicine specialist, who is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of OBG at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore.
She has completed her MBBS from Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore in 2010, and her MS OBG from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Odisha in 2014. She has also done her FNB High Risk Pregnancy and Fetal Medicine from Fernandez Hospital, Hyderabad from 2019 to 2022. She has achieved her MRCOG (UK) in Nov 2022, and is certified by FMF (UK) in Obstetric ultrasound and doppler studies, and by K2MS (Australia) in Labour monitoring. She has also completed a course on Telemedicine in clinical medicine from Harvard medical school.
She is a member of various state, national and international societies of obstetrics, obstetric medicine and fetal medicine. Her special interests include High risk pregnancy, Recurrent pregnancy loss, Prepregnancy counselling, Fetal medicine and interventions. She is dedicated to providing the best possible care to her patients, and is well-versed in the latest advances and technologies in her field.
